Cory Michael Ritter Cory Michael Ritter, age 22, of Dayton, Ohio passed away suddenly on December 31, 2008 at Upper Valley Medical Center ER, Troy, Ohio. He was born on December 7, 1986 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Michael Ritter and Karen K. Rudisill Ritter of Dayton, Ohio. In addition to his mother, Cory is survived by his maternal grandparents, Gary and Bernice Rudisill of Tipp City, Ohio; paternal grandmother, Betty Ritter of Ft. Myers, Florida; Aunt Jacquie McDonald and Uncle and Aunt, David and Megan Rudisill of Ellenton, Florida; sister, Melissa S. Thompson of Lewisburg, Ohio; niece and nephew, Paige and Blake Thompson; and his beloved dog, Jassie. Cory was preceded in death by his father, Michael, in 2001 and his paternal grandfather, Ted Ritter. He attended Ginghamsburg Church. He loved target shooting, ESPN MLG Gaming, boxing, computers and technology and writing. Funeral services will be held at 7:00PM Monday, January 5, 2009 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with visiting hours from 5-7PM at the funeral home. A graveside service will take place at 10:00AM Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Animal Shelter.
