Constance R. Ely, age 87, of Troy, OH passed away on October 8, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH.  She was born in Piqua on May 5, 1938 to the late Warren "Bud" and Dorothy (Reisenbeck) Wright.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years of marriage: James H. Ely; children: Mitchell D. (Kara) Ely of Missouri and Angela D. (Junior) Heffelfinger of Casstown; brother: Ronald D. (Barbara) Wright of Troy; grandchildren: Jimmy, David (Kaitlyn) and Sara; great grandchildren: Aubrey, Evelyn and Easton.

Connie was a 1956 graduate of Troy High School.  She was a member of the Union Baptist Church and served as the former church secretary for 30 years.

She served on many boards and was Past President of the former Dettmer Hospital Auxiliary. She formerly worked at Mrs. Rayve's Noodle factory and later retired from Marsh Supermarket.  She enjoyed nature, dogs, birds, her church and especially being with her family.

Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, October 13, 2025 at the Union Baptist Church with burial to follow in Fletcher Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday.
