Clyde L. Lippincott, 71 of Troy, died Friday, August 4, at his residence.
Mr. Lippincott was born April 3, 1929 to the late William E. and Mildred Leffel. Lippincott, was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War, was a graduate of Christiansburg-Jackson High School, retired in 1992 after 27 years of service with PMI Food Equipment Group Co. in Troy, and was a member of the Quarter Century Club.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, whom he married on February 12, 1949, Vivian K. Eaton Lippincott; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim Lippincott of Troy, Kelly and Roger Maggert of Lena and Kathy Baker of Troy; brother Bill Lippincott of Wapakoneta; sisters, Patty Walker and Rosalee Guenthner, both of Piqua and Marilyn Littlejohn of Christiansburg; two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 8 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Bobby Joyce officiating. Burial will be in Terre Haute Cemetery.
There will be a VFW Memorial Honorguard at the Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or American Cancer Society.
