Clolata A. Kear, 88, of Cridersville, Ohio and formerly of Troy, and Sycamore, Ohio passed out of this life on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at St. Ritas Hospital, Lima, Ohio. She was born on September 14, 1915 in Ft. Jefferson, Oiho to the late Joseph E. and Avis B. Hamer Turner. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rev. Herman F. Kear and their three children; Daughter & Son-in-law: Betty Joyce and Vaughn Collins of Kenton, Ohio; Sons & Daughters-in-law: Robert H. and Linda Kear of Bloomington, IN; and James E. and Janie Kear of Portland, Oregon. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Wallis and Martha Turner of San Diego, California. She has nine grandchildren, Robin Keith Hughes; Renee Rick Dunahue; Ryan Tara Collins; Rodney Alexa Collins; Rick Katrina Collins; Russell Collins; Kelly Calvin Clark; Jason Christine Kear and Nathan Kate Kear. She also has nine great-grandchildren; Keaton; Avery; Caidren; Kailey; Rachel; Zachery; Seth and Gracne and one stepgreat-grandchild, Alex. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Troy and United Methodist Women. She was a 1933 graduate of Wharton High School, she had reveived a BA in Education from Bowling Green State University in 1970. She was a formerly a beautician; educator; and secretary in school and business. The funeral church service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Dr. James Wilson and Rev. Rick Adams. There will be a graveside service at 2:00PM on Monday, July 19, 2004 at the Pleasantview Cemetery in Sycamore, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Allen County of Church of Choice.
