Clifford R. Smith, age 83, of Troy, OH passed away on June 27, 2020 at River Oaks Alzheimer's Care in Miamisburg. He was born on January 11, 1937 in Troy to the late Russel and Dorothy (Smith) Smith.

Clifford is survived by his wife of 61 years: Kay (Baker) Smith; children: Mark Smith of Cincinnati, Bruce Smith of Nicholasville, KY, and Gary (Cindy) Smith of Troy; and grandchildren: Alaina (Alex), Katie, Sean (Erika), Keegan, Braedon, and Emmagrace. In addition to his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by his brother: David Smith.

Clifford was a 1954 graduate of Troy High School and a 1960 graduate of The Ohio State University. He was a member of Indian Lake Moose Lodge 1533, Eagles Lodge 971, and Troy Fish and Game. He attended St. Johns United Church of Christ.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 2 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Burial in Riverside Cemetery will follow. Friends may call from 10:00-12:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
