Clifford F. Chronabery Clifford F. Chronabery, age 81, of Aurora, Indiana; formerly of Troy and Piqua, Ohio, passed away at 12:30PM on Monday, August 24, 2009 at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, Indiana. He was born on January 17, 1928 in Troy, Ohio to the late Clifford L. and Ruth Ellen Shunk Chronabery. His wife, Gerri Tracy Chronabery, survives. Other survivors include his three daughters and two sons-in-law: Marsha John Cooper of Troy, Ohio, Patricia Tom Berry of Aurora, Indiana and Susan Pence of Piqua, Ohio; brother, Ralph Chronabery of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren: Melissa John Tucker of Troy, Casey Pence of Piqua, T.J. and Brian Berry of Aurora, Indiana and A.J. Keeton of Piqua, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren: Noah, Jackson and Daniel Tucker and Alizah Pence. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews. In addition to his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by his sisters, Nancy George and Patty Chronabery. Clifford attended Troy High School before enlisting in the US Army. He served during WWII from 1945-1948. He was a former member of the Troy Moose Lodge and the Troy Fraternal Order of Eagles. He retired from Aerovent Fan Company in Piqua. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, August 28, 2009, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with Pastor Reva Minor officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio with Veterans Honor Guard services at the graveside. Friends may call from 5-8PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
