Clay Richard "Dick" Chaney, 49, of Piqua, Ohio died on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 in Indiana as a result of an accident. He was born on October 19, 1956 in Miami County to James Chaney and Barbara Bennett Chaney. He is preceded in death by his father, James Chaney. He is survived by a son, Bryan Chaney; brother and sister-in-law; Scott and Jane Ellen Chaney of Troy, OH; sisters and brother-in-law, Carol and Barney Pellman of Troy, OH; and Candy Chaney of Troy, OH and the girls, Sassy and Precious. He is preceded in death by his father and one brother, Carey Gene Chaney. He was a US Army Veteran. He was a 1976 Graduate of Troy High School. He was a truck driver with Dayton Containerized Freight Company. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2005 @ 10:00AM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Ohio. There will be a Veterans Honor Guard service at the graveside.
