CLARA A. SMALL, age 85, of Troy passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.  She was born on January 10, 1933 in Greenbrier County, WV to the late Don Elmer and Ida Thelma (Spade) Burns.

Clara was married to George E. Small and he preceded her in death on July 17, 2003.

Clara is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Randall and Cindy Small of Texas; daughter: Teresa Poling of Piqua; Grandchildren: Doug Poling; Kristy (Patrick) Chapman; Nicole Lane Hazellief and Randall Lee; eleven great grandchildren: Taylor, McKenna, Lainee, Gavyn, Kylie, Cole, Braylee, Sheldon, Korryn, Fisher and Finn; sisters: Hilda Hughart, Mary Lee Plantz and Marie Moore; and brothers: Robert Burns and Thomas Hall.

Clara was a member of the Troy View Church of God and Troy Senior Citizens.  She was a 1967 graduate of Troy High School.

Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with the Pastor Dan Cain officiating.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o Baird Funeral Home, 555 N.
