Clara M. Reed, age 93, of Troy, OH passed away October 9, 2024.  She was born on July 15, 1931 in West Pittston, PA to the late Roy and Mary (Rogers) Knecht.

Clara is survived by her children: Pam (Mike) Bennett of Raleigh, NC, David (Jeannine) Reed of Dayton, OH and daughter-in-law: Tammy Reed of Troy, OH; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Arlen L. Reed; daughter: Carol Reed Chaney; son: Roger Arlen Reed; grandson: Mark Chaney; brother: Roger Knecht and sister: Jane McMinn.

Clara was a member of the Troy Church of the Brethren.  She was a graduate of Middletown High School, Middletown, PA. Clara retired from Hobart Corporation after 25 years of service.

Services will take place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at the funeral home.
