Cindy Jo Clark Cindy Jo Clark, age 51 of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 7:27AM on Tuesday, May 06, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio. She was born May 16, 1956, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Kenneth M. and Shirley C. Walters Dalton of Bonita Springs, FL. In addition to her parents, Cindy is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Brian M. and Cara Stephey of Troy, Ohio and Matthew S. and Tami Stephey of Chicago, Illinois; brother and sister-in-law: Steve and Kim Dalton of Knightstown, Indiana; three grandchildren: Kora, Brogan and Kane Stephey; three nephews: Nicholas, A.J. and Garrett Dalton; other family, Brice Clark of Phoenix, AZ; and her boyfriend, Dick Stein of Troy. Cindy was a graduate of Martinsville High School, Martinsville, IN. She received a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education from Urbana University and was honored as class Salutatorian. She was a second grade teacher at Forest Elementary School, Troy and previously at Van Cleve Elementary. Cindy was recognized as Teacher of the Year in Miami County in 2004. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Friday, May 9, 2008, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with the Rev. Don Burley officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
