Chris Gresham

Chris Gresham, age 62, of Port Jefferson, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014 at his residence.  He was born on March 18, 1952 in Peoria, Illinois to Paul Harlan Gresham and Violet (Bowman) Gresham Davidson.  He was married on January 25, 1975 to Anna K. (Epperson) Gresham and she survives.

In addition to his wife and mother, Chris is also survived by his daughters, Vaunie Marie Nickels of Sidney and Sarah Elizabeth Dysinger of Port Jefferson; brothers, John H. Gresham of Oregon and Tom J. Gresham of Illinois; sisters, Muriel A. Williams and Paula M. Sietz both of Illinois; four grandchildren, Christopher James Dysinger, Ethan Tylar Dysinger, Kyler Lee Watkins, and Ayden Kenneth Watkins.

Chris recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services and Business from the University of Phoenix.  He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Port Jefferson.  He was currently employed with Wynn Reeth Incorporated continuing his work with handicapped individuals.  He enjoyed spending his personal time with his wife and family.

A memorial service will be held 5:00PM Friday, June 6, 2014 at the New Life Baptist Church in Port Jefferson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wilson Home Health and Hospice. Friends may express condolences to the family through www.bairdfuneralhome.com .
