Cheryl Ann Swearingin, age 80, of Troy, OH passed away on September 3, 2025 at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County.  She was born on April 2, 1945 in Piqua, OH to the late Roy and Bernadine (Treon) Pitsenbarger.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years: Michael Swearingin; brothers: Frank Pitsenbarger of Troy, Mark (Terri) Pitsenbarger of Troy; sister: Diane (Larry) Scott of Bellbrook; daughters: Lori (Tim) Schlater of Ludlow Falls, Christy (Matt) Stump of Troy and Mary (Chris) Peltier of Piqua; sons: Brian Swearingin of Louisville, Ky and Brad (Clare) Swearingin of Brooklyn, NY; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Cheryl was a 1963 graduate of Troy High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for Friendly Ice Cream, Chem Lawn and Riverside School.  After retirement, she volunteered at St. Boniface Church in Piqua.  She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes. Cheryl was a loving mother and grandmother.

Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday,  September 8, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy. The family will  receive friends prior to the service from 9:30-11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
