CHERYL L. JOHNSTON

CHERYL L. JOHNSTON, age 58, of Casstown, passed away suddenly Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  She was born on September 12, 1955 in Dayton, OH to the late Mitchell and Nancy (Walter) Niarhos.  Cheryl married Robert Johnston and enjoyed 33 years of marriage.  He survives.

Cheryl is also survived by five children and their spouses: Todd and Robin Folino of Vandalia, Tim and Jennifer Folino of Shakopee, MN, Tony Folino of Christiansburg, Jason Johnston of Troy and Cynthia and Mike Johnston Brown of St. Paris; two brothers and sister-in-law: Randy Niarhos of Vandalia and Michael and Kathy Niarhos of Kettering; and seven grandchildren: Erin Hagga, Emily Hagga, Ella Folino, Anthony Folino, Audrey Folino, Lennon Folino and Erick Johnston.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her special grandmother: Elsa Walters: one brother: Patrick Niarhos; and one grandson: Ezra Folino.

Cheryl retired from Kmart after 30 years of employment.  She also worked at Loretta's Country Kitchen in Christiansburg until very recently.  Cheryl was a graduate from Tippecanoe High School in Tipp City.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Elder Brian Hamilton officiating.  Friends may call from 5-7 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
