Cherie L. Adkins, age 88, of Troy, OH passed away on June 20, 2022 at the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy. She was born on November 23, 1933 in Camden, OH to the late Charles and Elizabeth McShane.

Cherie is survived by her husband of 38 years of marriage: Vernon William "Bill" Adkins of Troy; daughter: Elizabeth Stackhouse of Aztec, NM; three grandchildren: Laura, Josh and Ciria and one sister: Pat.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Joyce and Jean.

She was the former owner of Cherie's Fine Jewelry in Piqua and was a longtime antique dealer.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Troy.  Cherie enjoyed dining at Cracker Barrel and Olive Garden restaurants and also enjoyed fishing off the back of the pontoon boat with her husband, Bill at Indian Lake.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on July 2, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery Chapel in Troy, OH.
