Charlotte Ladd, 84, of Troy died peacefully in her sleep early Friday May 24, 2002 in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She was born April 24, 1918 in Norwood, Ohio to the late Raymond and Freda Brinkman Banks. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Rolla D. Ladd; 3 daughters and son-in-laws Ellen and Richard Ladd Stalley of Scottland, U.K., Priscilla and Larry Ladd Stull of Troy, Ohio, Cynthia and Brad Ladd Harrington of Tucson, Arizona; Brother Harold Banks of Mainsville, Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Pearl Mildred Steading, Dorothy Martin and a brother Raymond Banks. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Troy and a member of the Church Alter Guild. She retired as co-owner and bookkeeper of Western Auto Store. Services will be Wed. May 29, 2002 @ 11:00am at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Troy with the Reverend Barbara Schlachter officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call on the family two hours prior to the service at the church.
