Charles W. Wintrow, age 81, of Casstown, OH died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the Heartland of Piqua. He was born August 4, 1927 in Tipp City, Ohio to the late Charles W. Wintrow Sr. and Edith M. Dixson Wintrow. He married Ruby M. Wesco his wife of 59 years who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Diana Wintrow Shellhaas and her husband, James Shellhaas of Westfield, IN; Charles "Chuck" Wintrow and his wife, Jan Wintrow of Piqua, OH; and Christy Motter and her husband, Dale Motter of Fletcher; brothers, Wesley Wintrow of Casstown, OH and Lowell Wintrow of Troy, OH; nine grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Juanita Morgan. A graduate of Elizabeth School, Charles was a member of the AmVets Post #88 of Troy, Troy Fish and Game Club, and Franklin Lodge #14 F&AM of Troy. He retired from Dolly Toy, Inc. after 44 years of service as a factory engineer. Graveside Service will be held 10:30AM Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008 at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH.
