Charles B. Humphrey, 65, of Troy, Ohio died on Thursday, January 26, 2006 at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. He was born on September 4, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Carl L. and Mary Jane Hudson Humphrey. He married Patricia A. Brown and she precedes him in death in 1977. He is survived by four children, son and daughter-in-law; Charles Matthew and Beth Humphrey of Piqua, OH; daughters and sons-in-law; Cheryl Humphrey of Troy, OH; Suzanne Bock of Troy, OH; Mindy and David Dwyer of Whiteland, IN; brother and sister-in-law; John and Paula Humphrey of Dayton, OH; sisters and brother-in-laws; Mary Carter of Dayton, OH; Rose and Jerry Polakovics of Dayton, OH; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his second wife, Mary Ann Humphrey of Covington, Ohio. He is also preceded in death by his son, Mark Humphrey, in 1982. He was a US Army Veteran; member of the Troy Fish and Game Club; AAA; and AARP. He enjoyed camping and traveling and the time that he spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He retired in 1991 from Delco Division of General Motors Company after 30 years of service. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2006 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Pastor Steve Zimbleman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
