Charles Eggers, 53, of Port Clinton, OH died Thursday, November 22, 2001 in H.B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born August 25, 1948 to Herbert and Elizabeth Reilley Eggers. Mr. Eggers was a member of the Eagles Lodge #871, Troy, Eagles Lodge Aerie #3395, Port Clinton; Moose Lodge, Troy; Moose Lodge #1610 Port Clinton; the Troy Fish and Game Club; and the Sportsman Club, Gypsum. He was also a member of the V.F.W. Homer D. Gardner Post #2480, ort Clinton, American Legion Post #586, Tipp City, OH and the Am Vets Post #88 of Troy. Survivors include his daughters. Rachel Eggers of Troy, Susan Eggers of Cleveland, and Charlene Eggers of Port Clinton; step-son, Tim Minton, of Port Clinton, mother, Betty Eggers of Troy; sisters, Connie Eggers and Betty Bice of Troy. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Herbert Eggers. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00PM Wednesday, November 28, 2001 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Interment will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington,OH. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM on Tuesday November 27, 2001 at the funeral home.
