Charles Cornelius Dankworth Charles Cornelius Dankworth, age 60, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 10:30PM on Monday, March 26, 2012 at his residence. He was born on July 30, 1951 in Troy to Norma Jean Griffieth Davis of Troy and the late Robert Louis Dankworth. He is survived by his mother; daughter, Treva E. Eley of Greenville; sister, Patty Dankworth of Piqua, Ohio; five brothers: John Dankworth, Joe Dankworth and Larry Dankworth all of Troy, Eddie Dankworth of Florida and Dusty Dankworth of Piqua; three grandchildren: Phillip, Jonathan and Zachariah Francis; and one great-grandson, Phillip Francis III. In addition to his father, Charles was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene J. Dankworth on March 6, 1985. He was formerly employed with Buckeye House, Goodwill, Faurecia and Trophy Nut. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Riverside Cemetery Chapel, Troy with interment to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Baird Funeral Home.
