Charles S. "Charlie" Walton, age 89, of Troy, OH passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  He was born on July 11, 1934 in Bryan, OH to the late Charles L. and R. Doris (Starr) Walton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years: Suzanne (Agenbroad) Walton; son: Doug (Michelle) Walton of Portland, OR; daughter: Sally (Tom) Fairchild of Troy; five grandchildren: Kelly Selover, Brian Selover, Kimberly (Clay) George, Shawna (Martin) Mench and Taylor Walton and three great grandchildren.

Charlie served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy.  He retired from Hobart Corporation after many years of service.  He also spent many years as a high school, junior high and pee wee football referee. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.

A private service will be held with interment in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.
