Charles A. Bascombe, age 73, of Troy, OH passed away on April 24, 2025 at his residence. He was born on April 25, 1951 in Troy, OH to the late Theodore A. and Alice (Rodewald) Bascombe.

He is survived by his daughter: Angela (Brad) Greene of Enon; grandchildren: Haley Barks and Jordan Greene; brother: Mike Bascombe of White Sulphur Springs, W.VA.; nephews and nieces: Jesse (Bobbie) Bascombe of White Sulphur Springs, W.VA, Jonathan Vardakas of Troy, Regina Bascombe, of Savannah, Ga., and Olivia (Sam) Hulsey of Lexington, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Carole Ann Vardakas.

Charles was a 1969 graduate of Troy High School where his dad was a teacher for many years.  He retired from Conagra as a Quality Specialist and served in the US Army as a Military Police where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Private graveside services will be held at Dayton National Cemetery.
