CHARLENE DELORES MEDDERS, age 72, of Russia, OH, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy.  She was born in Fullerton, CA on March 20, 1947 to Delores (Culp) Stewart of CA and the late Robert Stewart.

Charlene is survived by one son: Jason (Karen) Medders of Russia, OH; two sisters: Shirley (Rick) Schofield and Vivian VanHaga, both of CA; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years: Jerry Medders; and one daughter: Shannon Ford.

Charlene attended Family of Faith Church in Oklahoma.  She was employed as a cosmetologist and as a school bus driver.  Charlene loved traveling, kids, dogs and crocheting.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 9, at Alcony Grace Church with Rev. Stephen Marcum officiating.
