Charlene L. Burnside, age 78, of Troy, OH passed away on February 6, 2025 at her residence. She was born on September 21, 1946 in Sidney, OH to the late Charles and Catherine (Andrews) Smedley.

Charlene is survived by her husband: Randy Burnside of Troy; children: Theresa (Mike) Fraley of Mt. Sterling, KY, Holly (Dave) Davidson of Sidney, Devona (Casey) Niswonger of Orlando, FL, and Dustin Ward of Troy; grandchildren:, Nichelle "Dawn" Ward of Lafayette, IN, Christopher Ward of Lafayette, IN, Megan Bradley of Vandalia, Cody Ward of Troy, Zachary Fry of Piqua, Austin Fry of Venice Beach, FL, Sharla (Dave) Petrow of Waterford, MI, Tamaira (Rod) McClure of Lexington, KY, Alex (Sarah) Thomas of Piqua, Katie Thomas of Troy, Hannah Ward of Troy, Brayden Ward of Troy, Bailey Ward of Troy, and Dylan Ward of Troy; stepdaughter: Kimberly (Ronnie) Crigger of Roanoke, VA; and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her son: Ted Ward; and sister: Millie Lewis.

Charlene retired from Meijer as a Level 3 Pharmacy Tech after 20 years. She will be remembered for her love for her family and Doxies. Family was the cornerstone to her life.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00PM on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00PM on Friday at the funeral home.
