Cathleen Ann Johnston, age 63, of Troy, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy.  She was born in Troy on April 9, 1958 to the late George and Nancy Ellen (Johnson) Counts.

Cathleen is survived by three children: Elizabeth Macy, Benjamin (Kristin) Johnston and Samantha (Mikey Calicoat) Johnston, all of Troy; sisters: Pam (Benjamin) Wolfe and Cristine Scalice; eight grandchildren: Jacob, Colin, Konor, Jayce, Brayden, Colton, Evelynn and Bentley; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother-in-law: Giacomo Scalice.

Cathleen was a 1976 graduate of Troy High School.  She was a member of Troy Elks Lodge BPOE 833.  Cathleen retired from Giacomo's in Troy.  She loved life and spending time with her grandchildren and friends. Cathleen also enjoyed volunteering and socializing with her second family at the Elks, playing cornhole, going to the beach, playing Keno and drinking her favorite beverages – Winan's coffee, Bud Light and Fireball!

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM on October 2, 2021 at Troy Elks with Lodge of Sorrow Service at 7:00 PM.  Private family burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.
