Carson Fitch age 80, of Troy, OH died Friday January 7, 2005 at his residence. He was born June 16, 1924 the son of Jim & Virgie Elkins Fitch who preceed him in death. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Dorothy Blankenship Fitch; daughters and sons-in-law, Addie & Lonnie Massingill and Debbie & Terry Iddings both of Troy, OH; step-daughter, Emma Smith and step-son, Timothy Herron both of Piqua, OH; brother, Clyde Fitch of Ft. Gay, W.VA; sisters, Violet Ferguson and Evalu Mullett both of Ft. Gay, W.VA and Sylvia Miller of Louisa, KY; grandchildren, Jody Iddings and Todd Iddings both of Lexington, KY; step-grandchildren, Amber Highley, Tori Highley, Gregory Highley, Christopher Highley, Erica Herron and Tim Herron Jr. Along with his parents, Mr. Fitch was preceded in death by his first wife, Lydia May Fitch in 1987; brothers, Lonnie, Luther, Vernon and Jessie Fitch and sister, Esther Copley. He was a member of Mid County Church of Christ, Troy, OH and he retired from Hobart Corporation, Troy, OH.
