Carolyn Ann Ward Carolyn Ann Ward, 62, of Casstown, Ohio passed away at on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Grandview Hospital Emergency Room, Dayton, Ohio after an extended illness. She was born on July 27, 1946 in Rome, Georgia to Hubert and Irene Sparks Wilkey. Survivors include: her father; her husband of 44 years, Daniel Lee Ward; two daughters and sons-in-law: Tammy and Joseph Hart of Troy and Tiffany and David Wall of Troy; sister, Jane Halberstadt of Jupiter, Florida; three grandchildren: Bethany, Chloe, and Matthew Hart. She was preceded in death by her mother. Carolyn was a member of the First Baptist Church, Troy. She loved her antiques and shopping. She was employed with the Miami County and Champaign County Alternative Schools working with troubled youth. Private services will be held. The family will receive friends from 3-6PM Saturday, January 3, 2009 at her daughter's home, 3071 Parkwood Drive, Troy, Ohio.
