Carolyn A. Parrish, age 62, of Tipp City, OH passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. She was born on November 26, 1952 in Jackson, MI. On November 22, 1978, Carolyn married Robert C. Parrish and he survives.

Carolyn is also survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Robert D. and Donna Parrish of Verona, KY and Matthew and Twiggy Parrish of Blakely, GA; daughters and sons-in-law: Cindy Parrish-Frick and Dan Frick of Bradford, OH and Monica and Scott Wright of Huber Heights, OH; nine grandchildren: Brooklynn, Molly, Jacob, Jessica, Josh, Sarah, Matt, Jordan, and Taylor; sister: Kathie Huemmer of Piqua, OH; brother: Larry Lohss, Sr. of PA; niece: Christina Savage of FL and nephew: Robert Sharits of SD. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents: Cletus E. and Norma E. (Luce) Sherman and her birth parents: William and Dorothy (Schenk) Lohss.

Carolyn served her country in the US Army. She was an employee of the message center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Carolyn was a horse enthusiast and formerly enjoyed showing horses. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs and cats.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City, OH with Veterans Honor Guard services at the cemetery.
