Caroline J. Brown Caroline J. Brown, age 81, a lifelong resident of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 3:40PM on Sunday, December 16, 2007 at Harborside Health Care, Troy. She was born October 27, 1926 in Miami County, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Rebecca Neff Edwards. She married Franklin E. Brown who preceded her in death in 1979. Mrs. Brown is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Kenneth and Darlene Brown of Pleasant Hill, Ohio and Roger Brown of Troy; one daughter and son-in-law: Sally and Donald Sigman of Troy; one niece: Janet Strait of Covington, OH; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Franklin Jr., three brothers and one sister. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Casstown Lutheran Church and Past President of the VFW Auxilary. A gathering of friends and family will be held at the Baird Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 from 5-7PM with VFW Auxilary service at 7:00PM and a memorial service to follow. Private interment will be at Casstown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or American Heart Association.
