Carol A. Schnell, age 91, formerly of Troy, OH passed away on December 20, 2025 at Gulf Coast Village in Cape Coral, FL. She was born on July 24, 1934 in Troy, OH to the late Homer L. and Emma E. (Hoover) Finfrock.

Carol is survived by her son, Mark Schnell, and daughter-in-law, Viola Schnell of Cape Coral, FL; grandchildren: Cassandra (Matthew) Rodriguez, Carol (Joseph) Resty, Heather (Ben) Purse, and Daniel Schnell; great-grandchildren: Alexis and Noah Rodriguez, Adalyn Resty, and Ramona Purse.  In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Schnell, and son: Robert Michael Schnell.

Carol was a 1952 graduate of Troy High School. She retired after 39 years as a librarian at Concord and Hook Elementary Schools.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Troy.

Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Graveside Service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday in Riverside Cemetery, Troy
