Carol Ann Ressler, age 79, of Troy, OH passed away on November 11, 2022 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. She was born on April 5, 1943 in Piqua, OH to the late Joseph and Martha (Detrich) Varner.

Carol is survived by her husband: Glen Ressler of Troy; children: David Scott (Annie) Ressler of Bradford, Christopher Alan (Fiancée: Susan Browder) Ressler of Covington, and Jennifer Diane (Chuck) Morris of Piqua; grandchildren: Ashley Hartzell, Joseph and Steven Ressler, Abbie (Bryon) Downey, and Charlie (Girlfriend: Amber) Morris; great grandchildren: Kaitlyn Hartzell, Arabelle, James, Amerah, and Dominic Ressler, Jailyn and Harper Downey, and Dacian and Kaytlyn Morris; and siblings: Donald Varner of Albuquerque, NM and Stephen (JoAnn) Varner of Las Vegas, NV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Corinne Marbaugh; and sister-in-law: Colleen Varner.

Carol worked at Stouder Hospital in Troy for 45 years as an RN. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ. In her free time, Carol enjoyed knitting, needle work, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Friends may call from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
