Obituary

Carol J. Freeman Lenehan Carol J. Freeman Lenehan, age 69, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 6:15PM on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Troy Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 11, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Joseph E. and Christine Ball Hubbard. She was preceded in death by her first husband, L. Nolan Freeman; second husband, Earl Lenehan; and daughter-in-law, Teri Freeman. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jerry Mullins of Troy; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Gary Freeman and Mike and Sharon Freeman of Troy; five grandchildren: Olivia Mullins, Jennifer Josh Nallen, Lindsay Travis Blair, Ashley Dug Tackett and Lainey Freeman; and eight great-grandchildren. Carol was a member of Troy Baptist Temple and member and Past President of Parents Without Partners. She was a homemaker most of her life and also worked at Hobart Corporation and Meijer's and was a volunteer at Stouder Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed cake decorating, painting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and baking homemade breads, pies, cookies, and making homemade chocolates. When her boys were young, she was a baseball mom. She also liked to dance and garden. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with interment to follow in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, Beavercreek, Ohio. Friends may call from 12:30PM-2:00PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
