Carol A. Irvin Carol A. Irvin, age 66, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 6:16PM on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio after an illness of three months. She was born on January 18, 1943, to the late Albert and Edna Meyers King. Her husband of 46 years, James W. Irvin, survives. She is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Paul Stephens of Fairborn, Ohio; two sons and daughters-in-law: James C. and Kathy Irvin Bluffton, South Carolina and Jeffrey S. and Kristie Irvin of Crossville, Tennessee; two sisters: Patricia Hildebrand of Centerville, Ohio and Linda Miller of Naples, Florida; six grandchildren: Ashley Irvin, Nick Stephens, Alec Irvin, Brant Irvin, Ben Irvin and Anthony Scott; and many loving nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents. She was a graduate of Troy High School and attended nursing school at Good Samaritan Hospital. She enjoyed golfing and all of her animals and showing horses with her family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with interment at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
