Carmen M. Overholser, age 71, of Casstown, OH passed away at her residence on April 12, 2021.  She was born on August 23, 1949 in Dayton, OH to the late Claude C. and Micaela C. (Jarmillo) Jones.  She was married to Donald W. Overholser for 40 years and he preceded her in death on April 22, 2020.

She is survived by her children: Tia (Craig) Thacker of St. Paris, Linda (Clint) Lemon of Malta, Tanya (Brad) Kingrey of Fletcher; and Jon (Brenda) Overholser of Troy; sisters: Linda (Dan) Lasater of Little Rock, AR; Micaela (Fritz) Elleman of Gaithersburg, MD and Estrellita (Mary Ferguson) Hocker of Troy; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, with another one on the way.  In addition to her parents and her spouse, she was preceded by son: Dale Sharp Jr.; brother: Claude Jones; and sister: Carol Gallion.

Carmen retired in 1999 after 30 years of service with General Motors at Delphi – Moraine.  She loved reading, playing computer games and was an avid bird watcher.  Carmen loved her pets, especially her beloved dogs.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Interment will follow in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
