Obituary

Carlos Francisco Quintana, beloved father and brother, passed away suddenly on September 23 at the age of 66. Born in Havana, Cuba on September 5, 1959. Carlos and his family emigrated to the U.S. in 1967. Carlos grew up in central Connecticut, attending Xavier High School and Northeastern University. Carlos' love of cycling brought him to the love of his life, the late Lisa Quintana and their beloved daughter, Meg. The family eventually moved to Troy, Ohio. Carlos lived a life defined by kindness, dedication, and quiet strength.

Carlos is remembered for his deep love of family, his generous spirit, and his unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. He touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and integrity.

In his professional life, Carlos enjoyed a long career in engineering and was an accomplished cyclist. Beyond his accomplishments, he was happiest in the company of loved ones, sharing laughter, stories, and meals around the table. He was particularly elated at the impending arrival of his first grandchild.

He is survived by his only daughter, Meg Seay (Andrew), and his sisters Marie (John) and Elena, nephew Felipe Rivera (Yarei) and niece Marlyse Rush (Brett). He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends. His family will forever cherish his memory.
