Carl R. Naas, age 76, of Troy, OH passed away at his home on January 27, 2025.  He was born on February 4, 1948, in Dayton, OH to the late Edward and Catherine (Puthoff) Naas.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years: Theresa "Terry" (Mason) Naas; four children: Joel (Monica) Naas of Springboro, OH, Kevin Naas of Sidney, OH, Jason (Gretchen) Wolbers of Tipp City, OH and Joshua Wolbers of Torrence, CA; five grandchildren: Austin Naas, Marissa Naas, Dana Naas, Jeremy Wolbers and Morgan Wolbers; seven siblings: David (Carolyn) Naas of Huber Heights, OH, Robert Naas of Troy, OH, Karen (John) Ludwig of Xenia, OH, Norman (Cheryl) Naas of St. Louis, MO, Mary (William "Bill") Collins of Paris, TX, Ruth Jergens of Ft. Myers, FL and Patricia (John) Sparkman of Oakwood, OH; sisters-in-law: Patricia Naas of Vandalia, OH and Barbara Naas of Farmville, VA and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Michael Naas, Paul Naas and Lawrence Naas.

Carl attended Chaminade High School and graduated from Patterson Co-op High School in 1966.  He also furthered his education at Wright State University before being accepted in an electrical apprenticeship program with General Motors, retiring from Delphi after 35 years.

Carl was a longtime trustee and active volunteer with Brukner Nature Center.  He enjoyed participating in the children's athletic activities which included many years warming a bench by soccer fields. Carl also enjoyed fishing trips to Canada as a young man, playing volleyball in area leagues, and vacationing with his wife throughout the country.  His heart found joy in hosting family and friends at home throughout his life and holding each of his grandchildren for the first time.

Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy, OH with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the funeral home.
