Carl J. Granger, age 78, of Troy, Ohio died Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at Cleveland Clinic. He was born November 11, 1928 in Delphos, OH to the late Med and Irene Auer Granger. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lucille Brown Granger. He is also survived by his children, David and Carol Granger and Pam and Dave Voisard of Troy, and Evelyn and Curt Powell of Peru, IN; siblings, Tom Granger of Oklahoma, Ralph and Ruth Granger of Sidney, Donald and Audrey Granger of California, Ruth Stump of VanWert, Jean Schaffner of Delphos, and Kathryn and Tom Smith of Landeck; grandchildren, Kristy and Doug Voisard, Amy and Brittany Granger, and Claire and Betsy Powell. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert, Mike, Jim, and John Granger. Carl was a graduate of Delphos St. John High School. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, US Air Force Veteran having served during the Korean War and later in the National Guard, member and past commander of the American Legion Post #43, Troy. He was retired from Shelby Manufacturing Company, Sidney and currently employed with the Plumb Shop, Troy. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00AM Saturday, September 1, 2007 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Troy with veteran's honor guard services at the graveside.
