Carl E. Brown, age 81 of Worthington and formerly of Troy, Ohio died Friday, April 18 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus. He was born of the late Ellis and Josie Ann Wertz Brown. He was married to the late Myrtle Davis who preceded him in death in 2001. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Barbara Brown and Beverly and Keith Murgatroyd; sister, Lucille Price and grandchildren, Amy Nichols; Christine Allwine and David Murgatroyd. Mr. Brown was a member of the Troy Church of the Brethren, Franklin Lodge #14F&AM and Franklin Chapter #24RAM. He was a veteran of the US Army in WWII. A graduate of Troy High School, he retired in 1986 from Hobart Corporation after 45-plus years of service. He was a member of the Hobart Quarter Century Club.
