CAMERON DOUGLAS BUERGER, age 20 of Troy passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014, as a result of a canoe accident on the Ohio River.  He was born in Troy on January 1, 1994 to Robert C. and Alandra B. (Hall) Buerger.

In addition to his parents, Cameron is survived by siblings: Claire, Matthew and Alaina; paternal grandmother: Carol Buerger, Cincinnati; maternal grandfather: Alan (Marianne) Hall, Cincinnati; aunts and uncles: Melissa Buerger, Emily (Larry) Earley, Alex (Angie) Buerger, Katy (Todd) Theetge, Heidi (Rick) Wilson and Heather (Tony) Ross; as well as numerous loving cousins.  In addition to his paternal grandfather: Dr. Leopold Buerger; and maternal grandmother: Audrey Hall, Cameron was preceded in death by one uncle: Douglas Hall.

Cameron was a 2012 graduate of Troy High School.  Cameron grew up attending First Presbyterian Church in Troy.  He was taking classes at Sinclair Community College while working at Advanced Auto Parts in Troy.  Cameron had recently decided to attend the University of Northwestern Ohio in the fall to study high performance automobile technology.

Cameron always lived life to the fullest – understanding the importance of having great times with family and friends.  His wit, compassion and adventurous spirit will be missed by all.

Memorial service will be at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church, 20 South Walnut Street, Troy with Rev. Dr. Richard Culp officiating.  Friends may call from 3:00-6:00 PM on Wednesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice or to the Search and Rescue Fund, Stanaford and Buerger, c/o of Wright-Patt Credit Union.  All contributions to this fund will be used toward those individuals and agencies which assisted in the search and rescue efforts for Cameron.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.bairdfuneralhome.com .
