C. SYLVESTER GRAY

C. Sylvester Gray, age 87, of Troy, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Troy Care and Rehabilitation Center, Troy, OH.  He was born in Irvine, KY on August 8, 1926 to the late Buford and Ollie Gary.  Sylvester was married for 57 years to Cora O. Dickford.  She preceded him in death on April 14, 2005.

Sylvester is survived by several nieces and nephews.  He worked for 34 years at Gum Products, Troy, OH.  In addition to his parents and spouse, Sylvester was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, OH.  Arrangements are being handled by Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
