Russell Ceyler is survived by his wife, Donna McDaniel; his first wife, Marilyn Ceyler Teat; his mother, Kathryn Baker Ceyler; three daughters and sons-in-law, Merilee and Wes Corbett, Barbara and Craig Buchanan, Jennifer and Robert Lawence, Sr.; two stepdaughters and spouses, Debbie and Spencer Smallenbarger and Vickie and Tim Mosley; nine grandchlidren; five great grandchildren and five step grandchildren; one brother, Phillip Ceyler and two sisters, Susan Huette and Nancy Chaplain.  He was preceded in death by his father, Ward S. Ceyler.

Mr. Ceyler coached in Troy Basketball League for 25 years and was a gateman for Hobart Arena for area high school basketball games for almost 50 years.

Burial was in Casstown cemetery
