Bruno E. Denlinger Bruno E. Denlinger, 93, of Troy, died Friday, April 13, 2007 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born September 30, 1913 in Dayton, OH to the late Charles and Armina Baker Denlinger. He was married to Mabel Hicks Denlinger, who passed away in 1987, and he later married Alice Settlemyre Denlinger, who resides in Troy. He is survived by his second wife, Alice; sons and daughters-in-law: Kenneth and Janet Denlinger of Troy, and Willard and June Denlinger of Covington, OH; daughters and sons-in-law: Betty and John Watren of Troy, and Lora and Larry Huff of Bristol, TN; grandchildren: Todd, Dean, and Chris Denlinger; Erik Denlinger, Nikki Taynor, and Kymberly Denlinger; Tammy Ruiz and Melissa Moore; Colleen Austin and David McCutcheon; and great-grandchildren: Melanie, Taylor, and Shelby; Dalton and Dillon; Danielle, Katie, Zachary, and Samantha; Haley and Mason; Dylan; Regan and Connor; and Kevin and Amber. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Virgil and Pharon; and three sisters: Beatrice, Naomi, and Virgie. Bruno retired in 1975 from National Cash Register after 40 years of service. His interests included fishing, hunting, and bowling. Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Dale Christian officiating. Interment will be at Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH. Friends may call from 6-8PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
