Bruce M. Sayers, 77, died at his residence in Morristown, Tennessee. He was formerly a resident of Troy and Beavercreek. Mr. Sayers is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Sonia Hardin, Kim and Gordon Jump, close friends; extended family and beloved dog, Spooky; five grandchildren, Shannon and Kristin Hardin; Andrea, Erika and Patrick Jump and one great grandchild, Zoey Owen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Hotchkiss Sayers; his parents, Charles and Mary Bartel Sayers and two brothers, John and Jack Sayers. He was a member of Morristown American Legion, WWII Veteran with Air Transport Command and a 1943 graduate of Troy High School. Mr. Sayers retired as Chief Deputy Director of Transportation at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Sunday, March 30 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio, with a service at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 31 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio with a VFW Memorial Honor Guard at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association
