Brooks T. Carson Jr. Brooks T. Carson Jr., 86, of Osprey FL, died peacefully, Monday, May 7, 2007 at his residence after an illness of seven years. He was born October 11, 1920 in Denver, CO, to the late Brooks T. Carson Sr. and Mary E. Mudd Carson. He was married to Jean Girompini Carson who survives. In addition to his wife, Brooks is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Teresa and Monte Everman of Winchester, KY and Rebecca and James Shields of Sebastian, FL; one son and daughter-in-law: Brooks S. and Lori Carson of Osprey, FL; one brother: L. Turner Carson of Troy, OH; and five grandchildren: Sarah Robinson, Barrett Schoeck, Faith Hufford, and Joel and Patrick Shields. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Patsy Ann Carson, November 1, 1993. Brooks received his B.S. from the University of Dayton and Juris Doctor-Law Degree from the University of Cincinnati. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Osprey, FL. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a Captain and fought in the battles of Guam, Cypan and Okinawa in the South Pacific. He was a retired attorney from Carson & Carson Law Firm and President and Co-owner of Carson Title Company. He received an award from the Dayton Bar Association for the practice of law for 50 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM Monday, May 14, 2007 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Troy, OH with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
