Obituary

Britton Nathaniel Stewart, 49, of West Milton lost his short courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 5, but won the war when he met Jesus.  He was born Sept. 26, 1975 in Fairmont, WV, to Becky Manning (Darrell) Markley of New Carlisle, OH and Doug (Karen) Stewart of Morgantown, WV.  Britton grew up in WV and moved to St. Paris, OH his junior year of high school.  He graduated from Graham High School in 1994.  He moved to NC in 2020, where he worked for Regulator Marine building ocean yachts but returned to Ohio last year to be near his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Taylor), whom he married on March 31, 2017.  Also surviving are his children, Jacob Stewart of Piqua, OH, Paige Stewart (fiancé, Tim Toney) of Minster, OH, Madelynn (Tristan) Bowser of Piqua, OH, Stephen Morrow of West Milton, OH, Michael (Sydney) Morrow of Troy, OH and Joshua (Natasha) Morrow of Englewood, OH: four grandchildren, Oakland Bowser, Winnie Morrow, Lincoln Morrow, Briella Morrow and baby Morrow due in April.  His brother, Heathton Stewart of New Carlisle, OH, also survives along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in WV.

Britton attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church and Victory Church.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the funeral home.
