Brenda Joyce Poettinger, age 65, of Troy, OH passed away on December 21, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH.  She was born on August 23, 1957 in Man, WV to the late Charles and Pearl (Cook) Aliff.

Brenda is survived by her husband: Jeffrey Poettinger of 43 years; nieces and nephews: Amy (Rudy) Maceyko, Steven (Debi) Poettinger and Laura Neal; great nieces and nephews: Sara (Wiley) Wells, Jordan Neal, and Heather and Todd Maceyko; great-great nephew: Wiley Wells, IV; cousins: Stacy Warnecke, Brittney and Bradie and Emma; uncle: Robert (Sandra) Cook; brother-in-law: Tom (Nancy) Poettinger; sister-in-law: Judy Poettinger.  In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her brother-in-law: Steve Poettinger and mother-in-law and father-in-law: Eldon and Lillian Poettinger.

She was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1975.  She worked at Garden Gate Realty as an office manager in Troy.  Brenda loved her dog, Yogi, her family and her friends.

Private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Troy Elks Club on January 7, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 PM.
