Brandon David Murphy, age 36, of Vandalia, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  He was born on January 19, 1985, in Dayton, to David Murphy of Huber Heights and Judy (David) (Sorah) Sullivan of Newark.

Brandon is survived by his grandparents: Sherry Snyder of Huber Heights and James and Jacqueline Sorah of Troy; siblings: James (Deanna) Wiseman of Brookville; Valerie Murphy Lloyd of Huber Heights; and Tristan Murphy of Huber Heights; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Brandon was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Jeremy Lloyd.

Brandon was a 2003 graduate of Milton Union High School.  He worked at Spinnaker Coating in Troy.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Fr. John MacQuarrie officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
