Bonnie Jean Maxson, age 74, of Fletcher, OH passed away on February 2, 2024 at her home.  She was born on January 11, 1950 in Piqua to the late Clarence and Wanda (Campbell) Cron.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 52 years of marriage: Dana A. Maxson; three children: Scott (Katrina) Maxson of Conover, Kathy Maxson of Fletcher and Tom (Lisa) Maxson of Casstown; six grandchildren: Madison, Connor, Abby, Evan, Wyatt and Ben Maxson; two siblings: Doug (Jody) Cron of Fletcher and Beverly (Darryl) Gheen of Piqua and brother-in-law: David Maxson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Becky Maxson.

She was a 1968 graduate of Miami East High School.  She was a member of 4-H for nine years and played high school sports.  She was a member of Lostcreek United Church of Christ and former member of Fletcher United Methodist Church where she served on the cooking ministry of both churches.

Bonnie served as a cook with Miami East High School for seventeen years.  She was known to show her love for others by cooking and baking for her family, friends and community.  She was an avid supporter of Miami East Athletics and her grandkids' activities.

Services will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Jason Egbert officiating.  Interment will follow in Fletcher Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:00AM - 12:00PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
