Bonnie L. Cavender, age 80, of Troy, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit.  She was born on July 25, 1941, in Lucasville, OH, to the late Roy L. and Gethel Lee (Wills) Travis.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 63 years: Gaylord Cavender; one daughter: Sonya (Robert) Hoover; two grandchildren: Keith Edward Hoover and Kevin Earl (Kirstie) Hoover; and four great grandchildren: Daelyn W. Hoover, Alexia S. Hoover, Kari E. Hoover and Kamden L. Hoover.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Norma Jean Adkins.

Bonnie was a 1959 graduate of Troy High School.  She enjoyed life in general, especially camping, fishing, her grandkids and her great grandkids.  She was the best mom, grandma and wife in the world.

Graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Miami Memorial Park in Covington with Pastor Steve Wilson officiating.  Family will greet friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 1:30 PM on Monday at the graveside.
