Bobby E. Sparks, age 66, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at his residence.  He was born on January 4, 1955, in Dayton to Arlene (Cox) Sparks of Troy and the late Estill C. Sparks.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 47 years: Jana M. (Cobaugh) Sparks; two children: Angela M. (Rich) Booker and Russell B. Sparks, both of Troy; two sisters: Laura (Bruce) Myers and Nancy Sparks, both of Troy; four grandchildren: Trey Sparks, Logan Phillips, Brady Sparks and Hailey Sparks; and several nieces and nephews.

Bobby was a 1973 graduate of Miami East High School.  He was a lifetime member and past president of DARF, where he started the DARF Hall of Fame.  Bobby was also a Kentucky Colonel. He loved his family, fishing and building and lettering race cars.  He was a former employee of Dinner Bell Foods and retired from SK Mold & Tool.  Bobby was owner/operator of Sparks Racing Supply.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Kermit Wilson officiating.  Burial will follow in Casstown Cemetery in Casstown.  Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday and 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
