Bobby D. Jenks, age 78, of Casstown, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.  He was born in Lebanon, VA on February 2, 1936 to the late Wilson Self and Polly (Crigger) Jenks.  Bobby was married to Delores Ann (Harper) Jenks for 16 years.  She survives.

Bobby is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law: David Bryan and Tonya Jenks of Atlanta, GA; two brothers and sister-in-law: Jimmy Jenks of Ocala, FL and Johnny and Elaine Jenks of Amarillo, TX; and one granddaughter; Taylor Sophia Jenks of Atlanta, GA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister; Ann Brown.

Bobby proudly served his country as a member of the US Air Force during the Korean War.  He was employed by Captor Corp. in Tipp City as an engineer.  Bobby liked gardening, spending time with his family and working in his shop.  He loved the warm weather and hated the snow!

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Steve Grooms officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
